COMPETITIVE OIL AND GAS LEASE SALES

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (ADNR), Division of Oil and Gas (DO&G), is offering lands for competitive oil and gas 
leasing in the Alaska Peninsula (AP) and Cook Inlet Areawide (CI) 2010 Oil and Gas Lease Sale on May 26,2010. Bid opening begins
at 9:00 a.m. at the Dena'ina Civic Convention Center, 600 W. th Avenue, Anchorage.

The Alaska Peninsula Areawide sale area encompasses approximately 5.8 million acres and is divided into 1,047 tracts ranging in size 
from 1,280 to 5,760 acres. The sale area encompasses onshore and offshore acreage that stretches from the Nushagak Peninsula in the 
north, down the north side of the Alaska Peninsula to just north of Cold Bay. Tracts 1027, 1028, 1031, 1032, 1036, 1037, 1042 and 
1043, located in T. 53 & 54 S., R. 85 W., Seward Meridian are deferred from this sale.

The Cook Inlet Areawide sale area encompasses approximately 4 million acres and is divided into 815 tracts ranging in size from 640 
to 5,760 acres located in the Matanuska and Susitna valleys, the Anchorage bowl, the western and southern Kenai Peninsula from Pt. 
Possession to Anchor Point, on the western shore of Cook Inlet from the Beluga River to Harriet Point, and within Cook Inlet. Tracts 
272 and 597, located in T. 9 N., R.9 W. and T. 14 N., R. 8 W., Seward Meridian, are deferred from this sale.
